Brenda joined Heathrow Women’s club to participate in charitable work that will have a positive impact on the community. She is a lifetime member of the Women’s Union- a social organization in Massachusetts established in 1873. She has lived in Celebration, FL for the past 9 years and moved to Heathrow a year ago. She is married to her husband Donald and has 3 children ranging in age from 16-31, 2 granddaughters, and a very spoiled Maltese. Currently, Brenda is the director of an online learning company. Previously she was a professor of Immunology and STEM education at UMASS Dartmouth. She enjoys golf, walking, and tennis.

Cindy joined Heathrow Women’s club to give back to the community and meet more of her neighbors. She has lived in the Central Florida area since 1986 and in Heron Ridge in Heathrow since 2017. She has a blended family of 5 boys aged 22-26.

Cindy recently took a leave from her job as a paralegal and may return to work in the future. Her hobbies are exercise, cooking, baking, and decorating. She would also like to start golfing again.

Quirina recently moved to Heathrow 3 months ago from Connecticut and is looking forward to making new friends. She is married to William with 2 children and 5 grandchildren. She is retired and previously worked in the not-for-profit field primarily in education. She enjoys golf, reading, and Mah Jong and would like to join a book club and a Mah Jong group.

Nancy lives in Sanford and is originally from the Maryland/DC area. She has a daughter and 2 grandchildren. She is semi-retired and is a licensed real estate agent. Nancy's hobbies are reading, traveling, going to the beach, and spending quality time with her family. She is looking forward to meeting new friends and participating in our charitable endeavors.

Tina recently moved back to Florida from Pasadena, CA 18 months ago. She now lives in Orange City, but previously lived in Altamonte Springs/Longwood from 1986-2009 and raised her 2 children there.

She is originally from New Baltimore, MI, a suburb of Detroit.

She is married with 2 grown children (a son and a daughter) and 2 dogs.

Tina owns a company that sells new and used clothing online. She is also a Neuropathic Doctor and practiced in California for 6 years. Tina and her husband retired early and moved to Ecuador for 6 years and started a travel blog, but have moved back to the states to care for their elderly mother-in-law.

Her hobbies are playing cards, bridge, euchre, and pinocle. Also, wine and travel.

She is looking forward to social activities, making new friends, and helping others through our charities.

Ronda is an Orlando native and has recently moved to Longwood. She has previously lived in Winter Park, FL for 17 years and most recently in Raleigh, NC. She is married for 30 years to her high school sweetheart and has 2 sons 24 and 21 and they also have a cat. She worked for many years in Marketing and Public relations in various industries and has been on several charity boards. Her hobbies include cooking, yoga, wine, jazzercise, vintage markets, reading, gardening, and British TV. Ronda is excited to contribute to her hometown and to make some new friends.

Diane has lived in Heathrow for 4 years and is originally from Pennsylvania. She has 1 daughter and 2 grandchildren. She does not have any pets but her granddaughter has 4 dogs so she gets her “Pet Fix“ from them!

She is retired from Corporate America where she worked in Management Information Technology. She currently has an online business.

Her hobbies are traveling and photography and she looks forward to socializing through the Club.

She is originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana. She moved to Boca Raton, FL in 2002 until moving to Heathrow in 2005 and has resided in Savannah Park in Sanford for 9 years. Jennifer has 3 kids, Lexy is 26 and a successful hairdresser, Mason is 20 and a Finance major at UCF and Luke is 17 and attends Seminole HS. They also have a 12-year-old bulldog who rules the home! Jennifer works as a community liaison for Aviv Clinics in The Villages which helps clients recover from various illnesses. She is a registered and licensed dietician.

Her hobbies are exercise, being a foodie, theater, and golf. She is joining HWC to socialize and help the community.

Tracey Albert has lived in Lake Mary for 20 years, near her amazing mom Bonnie and sister Amy. Previously they lived in Miami Beach. Tracey teaches 2nd grade in Seminole County Public Schools. Her hobbies are watching TV, movie-going, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She is joining us to socialize and contribute to our charities.

Suzanne Lemon has lived in the Lake Mary area for 30 years and grew up in Winter Park. She is a widow since 2016 and has a stepson that lives out west. She is a dog lover and has always had labs but none currently. She is now retired; but worked at AAA for 20 years as a travel writer and editor. Hobbies are travel, wine tasting, cooking, Pilates, and walking. She is excited to meet new people and support the community.

Amy Pempel is originally from Atlanta and has lived in Wembley Park since 2001 and Carrington Park prior to that. She has been in Seminole County since 1989. Married to Wayne, who is a local news radio personality with a stepson and granddaughter living in Colorado. She also has 3 cats. She’s retired from sports, tv publicity for various news stations and most recently from Siemens Energy as head of global media relations. Her hobbies are travel, wine, reading. She’s looking forward to socializing and fundraising for our community.

Nancy Woron has lived in Lake Markham Landings for 2 years, and moved from Stuart, FL. She was born in St Louis, MO and grew up in Palm Beach County. Married for 43 years, she has 3 children, 8 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. They have a sweet Havanese Baily. She worked as a dental hygienist and as an office manager for their insurance agency and is happily retired as of NOV 2022. Her hobbies are travel, reading, family time. Looking forward to meeting new people and making a difference in people’s lives through our charitable organizations.

Bonita Halcomb has lived in Grande Oaks at Heathrow for 12 years. She has 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Retired in Sept 2022 as an office manager for Advent Health for 23 years, she also worked as an Alaqua Country Club exec assistant, a Creator/MGR for Sun Solutions (products sold at resorts), a flight attendant and a dental /Ortho assistant. She created Advent Health Photography Club Central FL, she was a synchronized swimming coach in Dayton, and a Member of MEIC Investment Club. She enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, golf, traveling and is looking forward to making friends and contributing to our charities.

Tracy Turk has lived In Lake Mary since 1999 and, in the early '80s moved to South Orlando. Originally from Marco Island, her father was in the Navy so she moved a lot for 30 years until college. Married since 2002 with children and grandchildren and also a dog mom to 3 long-haired dachshunds she retired in June 2022 from Metro Orlando EDC. Her hobbies are travel, wine tasting, photography, reading, working out. She has been a member of various charities so is looking forward to making new friends and to be involved in the local community.

Jeanne Blumenthal is originally from California and lived in Central Florida through HS, but moved to Indiana is 1978. In 2021, she moved back here for the winters. She’s married with 2 boys and 3 grandchildren, and a dog (Spaniel and Bichon mix). She’s a retired attorney and her hobbies are fixing up the house, travel, reading, painting, creative writing and golf. She’s looking forward to making new friends.

Stephanie Lollis has lived in Burlington Oaks since 1984 and is from the upstate NY Catskill mountain area. Married for 26 years, she has a 14- year- old son. She works at First American Title Ins. Co as Director of Agency Services in Florida. Her hobbies are travel and adventure as well as watching baseball and other sports. She joined to support our missions and charities.
