The Circle of Giving

The Circle of Giving Program was created in 2017 to recognize the women of HWC who have donated money to further our charitable causes. We wanted to recognize these members for all that they do, so the "Circle" was formed with the purpose of helping women and children in Seminole County. All active club members in good standing are eligible to participate. The 2021 enhanced program seeks to formalize the monetary levels of giving, along with member appreciation awards. The program is designed to run into perpetuity or until otherwise canceled by the Board of Directors.

Each member’s Giving Level, Designation, and Appreciation Award reflects ALL qualifying donations since the program’s inception including memorials, honors, and outright gifts of cash, check, or credit card. Eligibility in this program does NOT INCLUDE the purchase of specific items where there is a receivable including raffle tickets, turkeys, yard sale, or auction items. Christine‘s Safe Pet Fund- CSPF

Christine‘s Safe Pet Fund-CSPF was established in honor of our Past President and friend, Christine Gillen. This fund will enable more domestic violence victims to leave abusive households without leaving their pets behind and at risk. 100% of all money raised will be used for vaccinations, medications, and pet housing deposits. CSPF will help remove safety barriers and allow survivors with pets to seek safety together thus saving more lives. If you have questions, please contact Patti Nevelef at Pattinev@hotmail.com

Charitable Endeavors Luggage, toiletries, School’s Supplies and non-perishable food Appeal

Luggage

Do you have any 22” or smaller luggage on wheels, in good repair you don’t longer need? Seminole County Friends of Abused Children, Inc. needs luggage for their foster care children. Currently, the kids are using garbage bags to transport their belongings. They deserve better than that! Please, consider donating your gently used luggage.

Toiletries

Do you have small hotel toiletries? These are very useful for the women and children of Seminole County SafeHouse and Home of Abused Children to have since they leave to safety without them. Please, have this in mind while traveling and bring them home to give to a good cause.

School Supplies and Non-perishable Food

Every year before a new school year starts, HWC Charitable Endeavors will launch a list of school supplies needed for the children of Seminole County Public Schools. Let’s keep this successful drive going as we do every year, and give the gift of learning to the students of Seminole County. Non-Perishable food is always needed year-round.
