We are pleased to announce that January's speaker will be Dr. Georgia Lorenz, President of Seminole State College. Dr. Lorenz has been honored as one of Orlando Magazine's 2025 Women of the Year and 50 Most Powerful People in Education, and Orlando Business Journal's 2023 Women Who Mean Business which recognizes female leaders for their contributions to business success, workforce development and community advancement in Central Florida.

The Club is open to all women in Central Florida. (Neither residency in Heathrow nor Country Club membership is required to join the Heathrow Women’s Club.) Advanced Registration is required by Thursday, January 8th at 6 pm. (Reservations and Cancellations will NOT be accepted after this date and will incur an HCC $5 late fee.)
Cancellation Policy: Anyone canceling a reservation must do so no later than noon the Thursday before the meeting date by calling Clety Gomez at 407-760-9363 or emailing Cynthia Lebowitz at technicalservices@heathrowwomensclub.org. If the reservation is not canceled by that date and you cannot attend, you will be billed the total cost ($30) of the luncheon plus the late fee.
What to Bring

Extra cash to buy raffle tickets for the prize basket
Unused toiletries from previous hotel stays for selected Seminole County charities
Non-perishable food items for Somebody's Hungry, canned/boxed goods, and toiletries donations to charity. Somebody’s Hungry will have a table at each HWC luncheon where you can drop off your donated items. A volunteer from HWC will then take those items to a designated food pantry.
