A huge thank you to all who donated to our back to school drive this year! What a huge success! Due to your generosity, we were able to make the first day of school brighter for children at Pine Crest Elementary School (highest poverty school in the district) and SafeHouse of Seminole.
We are looking forward to hearing about the impacts we made at our charities of choice last year: SafeHouse of Seminole, The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools (Pathways to Success), Friends of Abused Children and Boys and Girls Club.
Please consider joining us at our first meeting of the year at 3 pm on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at Sawyer Lake Park. At that time we will be asking for representatives to be the key contact to our charities, seek a Chair for Secret Santa, discuss volunteer opportunities in the community, and the monthly support we can provide with donations at our monthly luncheons.
To start the year off on the right foot, please consider bringing non-perishable food items or toiletries (deodorant, shampoo, liquid soap or body wipes) to be donated to our homeless children in Seminole County. Please start thinking about Seminole County based non-profits that support women and children…we will be taking suggestions as to who we should send grant applications to for this year’s consideration. Thank you in advance for your continued generosity…together we CAN make a difference.
Respectfully submitted,
Tina Calderone, Chair
